Biography
Dr. Griffith is an Instructional Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Texas A&M University School of Public Health. She has engaged with local, regional and state public health entities on various public health practice activities including public health preparedness and high consequence infectious diseases with an emphasis on planning, implementation and evaluation. Her work focuses on engaging stakeholders in planning by deconstructing steps in the overall process to provide transparency for internal and external audiences and linking to measurable outcomes. Tools including logic models and creation of SMART objectives are central in the process and provide stakeholders with evidence in their continued planning cycles.
She received a DrPH in Health Behavior and Health Education from UNC Gillings School of Public Health and both a MPH in Social and Behavioral Health and BA in Biology from Texas A&M University.
