Biography
Mayra Rico is a Program Coordinator for the USA Center for Rural Public Health Preparedness. Through this role, Mayra has supported a comprehensive COVID-19 vaccine outreach and education project across rural Texas counties, ensuring equitable access to vital healthcare information and resources. She also assists in the research development process and conducts analysis of qualitative and quantitative data from focus groups and interview sessions, yielding meaningful insights to drive evidence-based solutions. Mayra holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Promotion and Community Health Sciences from the Texas A&M School of Public Health. Prior to her MPH, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University.
