This course is offered from an FBI Perspective and reviews the definition and types of bioterrorism. You will review the recommended response to weapons of mass destruction (WMD) incidents and the roles that make up the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF). This course will also present several case studies where Public Health agencies have worked closely with the JTTF. A list of resources will be provided that are available to you in the event of a bioterrorism incident.

Intended Audience

Public health and emergency management individuals who want to learn more about conducting a joint investigation with the FBI on a public health crisis. No prior experience is required.
